A section of Manchester United fans believe assistant coach Mike Phelan has all but confirmed a deal to sign Jadon Sancho this summer.
United are still interested in a move for priority signing Sancho in the summer transfer window, but things have gone a bit quiet in the last few weeks.
Negotiations are still ongoing over what would be a club-record move for the £108million rated Sancho but United are considering alternatives with their first game of the new season only next week.
The Borussia Dortmund winger remains the main attraction for most United fans and now they have been sent into overdrive by Phelan's latest social media activity.
Phelan only joined Instagram earlier this week but eagle-eyed fans spotted that Sancho was one of the first people he chose to follow on the social media platform,.
Even though Phelan also follows Raheem Sterling, Roberto Firmino and Georgino Wijnaldum, among other players, for some United fans the Sancho follow is enough to convince them of an upcoming move.
Confirmed?
