Manchester United want to see Marcus Rashford allowed to make the left wing position his own this season after a fine goal against AC Milan.
Rashford scored his third goal of pre-season when he chased a forward ball to the left by-line before cutting inside onto his right foot, advancing past two defenders into the area and firing into the far post.
It was a goal of a player full of confidence, and United fans were delighted to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's high press and fast attacking play bearing fruits.
In particular, fans saw Rashford's goal as proof he should be starting from the left of a front three more often as they feel the young striker is more dangerous when he can cut onto his right foot. It would also allow Anthony Martial to get a run of games in a central role.
