Manchester United fans think Marcos Rojo is signing for PSG

The January transfer window is almost upon us and Manchester United are considering bolstering their squad going into the second half of the season.

However, Old Trafford sources informed the MEN there is a 'high possibility' United could go without signing anyone in January.

In terms of outgoings, though, the MEN understands Marcos Rojo has been given time off ahead of a possible transfer.

Rojo is understood to be fit but has not played for United since November.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has six centre-backs in the senior squad - not including Chris Smalling - and the Norwegian is willing to sanction Rojo's departure should United receive an appropriate offer for the Argentina international.

Rojo caught the attention of some United fans on social media on Monday when he shared a picture of himself wearing a PSG shirt during a recent visit to the new stadium of his old club Estudiantes.

And plenty of them think it's a sign Rojo is on his way to the French champions.
