Manchester United fans think new signing Daniel James will offer them something that has been missing for some time after the winger made his debut in pre-season.
James started against Perth Glory in Australia and immediately caught the eye of fans from the right wing.
The Welshman was direct and offered an outlet on the right hand side against a deep-lying opposition defence, and was constantly looking to take on his full-back.
United have lacked an out-and-out winger for some time, and James' debut performance gave fans hope that the club have finally found a solution to their long-term problem on the wing - especially with Tahith Chong starting on the opposite side.
However, James' threat attracted plenty of fouls from the Perth Glory defence, and he will have to prepare for similar treatment from Premier League opponents.
