Manchester United fans think Christian Eriksen's desire to leave Tottenham will impact their summer transfer business.
Eriksen, who was on the losing side in the Champions League final last weekend, said he feels the time is right to seek a new challenge away from Spurs.
"I feel that I am a place in my career where I might want to try something new," the 27-year-old said.
"I have the wildest and deepest respect for everything that has happened in Tottenham, nor will it be negative. But I have also said that I would like to try something new."
The comments prompted plenty of United fans to suggest that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should move to sign the Danish international, as he offers proven Premier League and European quality.
But others suggested that his availability might alert Real Madrid, which in theory would make them chose between Eriksen and Paul Pogba.
If Madrid moved for one or the other, United fans feel a transfer chain could start affecting a number of players.
