Manchester United fans tell board to 'take note' over Solskjaer after Norwich sack Farke

Daniel Farke has been sacked by Norwich City despite the club on Saturday winning their first Premier League game of the season.

The Canaries beat Brentford 2-1, however, Farke was dismissed after the game with the league now on a two-week break due to the international football calendar.

Farke was the bookies' favourite to be the next manager sacked in the Premier League, with Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in second place.

Hours before Farke's side beat the Bees, Solskjaer had overseen another humbling home defeat - this time at the hands of cross-city rivals Manchester City, who strolled to success at Old Trafford.

Reacting to the news, there was a similar thread running through United fans' opinions.

Many have been surprised to see Norwich act quicker than United in sacking their manager - as they look to turn their season around before it's too late.

The German joined Norwich in 2017 and he led them to the Premier League in his second season at the helm.

He would guide Norwich back to the Premier League this season, but has now been sacked with the club sitting bottom of the league.
