Manchester United fans spot the same problem with new 2019/20 home kit

Manchester United supporters have questioned the club for focusing on the past upon the release of their new 2019/20 home kit.

United launched their new home strip for the 2019/20 season on Thursday morning ahead of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first summer in charge at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba, David de Gea and Alex Greenwood were integral to the marketing campaign which accompanied the kit launch as the club showcased the latest design.

United's new home shirt features special detailing to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their famous treble win with a return to the famous crest badge which was worn at the Nou Camp in 1999.

The shirt also features the minutes in which United scored their dramatic double in the Champions League final, while the goalkeeper top is modelled on the one Peter Schmeichel wore in the 1996-97 season.

Although fans think the kit is a nice nostalgic throwback, some supporters have criticised the club for focusing on the past, particularly because they're not even in the Champions League next season.
