Manchester United fans have slammed Luke Shaw and Jesse Lingard after their poor performances during the defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Confidence was high prior to the game with United winning back to back fixtures in the Premier League, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side started poorly and failed to recover.
Nicolas Pepe opened the scoring after sending David de Gea the wrong way with a powerful finish after some awful defending from the Reds. The Ivorian was a constant threat on the right side and Shaw was unable to handle the skillful winger.
Solskjaer opted to give Lingard the chance to impress behind Anthony Martial in attack with Andreas Pereira dropping to the bench.
However, the England international was a passenger in the defeat, extending his woeful record in front of goal after ending 2019 without a single goal or assist in the league.
United fans were far from pleased with their showings and Solskjaer's team selection.
