Manchester United fans slam Charlie Nicholas's assessment of Harry Maguire, full-back positions and Paul Pogba

Manchester United fans are fuming this morning after Charlie Nicholas revealed he thinks Wolves will beat Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men this weekend.

The Red Devils travel to Molineux on Monday night fresh from their 4-0 triumph over Chelsea on Sunday.

The mood around Old Trafford is one of optimism after such an emphatic win over a top-four rival.

However, the United fan base have been left a little miffed after Sky Sports pundit Nicholas gave his underwhelming assessment of Sunday's win.

The ex-Gunner wasn't as impressed as most by Manchester United's showing and has tipped them for 2-1 defeat to Wolves.

In his latest predictions for Sky Sports , he wrote: "Nuno Espirito Santo has the energy, drive and passion for the crowd, with Manchester United coming off the back of a 4-0 victory, almost a hallucination is the best way to describe that result.

"I thought Harry Maguire was average, he did everything that was asked of him. He was efficient and got about the pitch, but I don't want to hear nonsense about him being a leader and strong on the pitch already, it is too soon.

"He has started well, but I am suspect about the right-back and left-back positions at Man Utd. Chelsea could have easily scored two or three. I am still not convinced by Manchester United and I would still sell Paul Pogba."

Those comments have left a bitter taste in the mouth of a lot of United supporters.

Whilst the goals of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James grabbed the headlines, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were two of United's best performers on the day.

Seeing a former Arsenal man down cry their performances hasn't gone down well amongst the fan base.

Here is a look at how some United fans reacted on Twitter and it's fair to say they were less than impressed.
