Manchester United are in the hunt for Cristiano Ronaldo and fans are a little divided over a potential deal.
The Portugal legend has told Juventus he wants to leave the club this summer, with Massimiliano Allegri confirming that he will not play for the Serie A giants again during his press conference on Friday.
It was believed that Ronaldo was close to joining Man City before the deadline, following Harry Kane's collapsed move to the Etihad Stadium earlier this week.
However during his press conference for the Wolves game this weekend, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to rule out a move for the striker. MEN Sport have reported that United's owners the Glazers are keen to get Ronaldo to re-sign.
Solskjaer said: "We've always had a good communication. Bruno [Fernandes] has been talking to him as well and he knows what we feel about him. And if he was ever gonna move away from Juventus he knows we're here."
Fans have seen the news and are split on a potential move, with many excited by the prospect of a legend returning to the club and beating City to him. A small section of others have emphasised the bigger picture and saying United have been suckered in to a battle when they should be prioritising other positions.
Ronaldo has been spotted leaving Turin on his private jet but his destination is unknown, although it now looks sure that his next club will be in Manchester.
