Manchester United fans believe Andreas Pereira should make way for Paul Pogba when the France midfielder returns from injury.
Pogba hasn't played for United since their 1-1 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford on September 30th, when he was rushed back from an ankle problem.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that Pogba would then have a spell on the sidelines and the Frenchman has, until recently, been wearing a protective cast on his ankle.
"Paul had an injury, he came back, he worked really hard," Solskjaer said last month.
"He came back and played a couple of games, maybe played through the pain barrier.
"He had a scan after the Arsenal game and maybe needed a few weeks' rest in a boot so hopefully he won't be too long."
United have won five of their last six games without Pogba in the side, with Fred and Scott McTominay forming a solid partnership in the centre of midfield.
But United fans clearly still value Pogba, despite the midfielder making noises about wanting to leave Old Trafford last summer, amid interest from Real Madrid and Juventus.
In response to a MEN Sport poll that asked: "Who should drop out of the Manchester United side when Paul Pogba returns from injury?" only 15 per cent said "nobody".
Pereira polled 76 per cent of the vote, with Fred receiving seven per cent and McTominay two per cent.
The situation is potentially complicated by McTominay's own ankle injury, suffered in United's last game, the 3-1 victory over Brighton. Solskjaer will hope to soon have a squad with a clean bill of health at his disposal.
