Manchester United fans send message to Glazers following Leicester City FA Cup celebrations

Manchester United fans want the Glazers to act more like Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha following the club's historic FA Cup triumph.

Leicester defeated Chelsea 1-0 in an emotional final on Saturday, made even better by the return of thousands of supporters to Wembley.

They were able to witness something special, too, as Youri Tielemans grabbed the winner with a 30-yard screamer in the second half.

The Foxes survived a late scare when Wes Morgan bundled the ball into his own net as they were given a reprieve by VAR, which ruled the goal out due to an off-side in the build-up.

Leicester hung on to win the famous trophy for the first time, which sparked wild celebrations on the pitch and the stands upon the final whistle.

Following the lifting of the cup, Khun Top, the CEO of King Power, which owns Leicester, and the son of the late Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, went down to pitchside and was quickly welcomed with hugs by the players, before being handed the trophy.

The Srivaddhanaprabhas are beloved in Leicester for the way they have run the club and United fans have wished that their own club's owners were similar.

The backlash to the failed Super League project has reignited discontent amongst supporters against the Glazer family's ownership of the club, which has led to mass protests outside Old Trafford and saw the Premier League fixture against Liverpool being postponed.

Upon witnessing the scenes at Wembley, United fans could only wish the Glazers took a leaf out of Khun Top's book.

United great Rio Ferdinand was on punditry duty for the match on BT Sport and he loved see Khun Top celebrate with the players and supporters.

"In a time where the relationship between owners and players and fans is so fractured at the moment, to see what we're seeing here is so refreshing," he said.

"I don't think there's a club that's more connected from top to bottom as what we see with this club here."
