Manchester United fans are clear that Diogo Dalot can have a big future at the club, after he sent a reminder of his talents playing for AC Milan.
Starting in an unfamiliar left-back role on Thursday, Dalot was making his second appearance for Milan since joining on a season-long loan.
After Brahim Diaz had put Milan ahead against Sparta Prague and former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic had missed a penalty, Dalot stole the show in the second half with a fine assist and goal.
First, Dalot's perflectly-timed run from left-back beat the offside trap and he sent a brilliant outside-of-the-boot assist to Rafael Leao in the centre to convert.
Then, Dalot made the same run, this time making space behind the defence and he was able to score from outside the box as the Sparta goalkeeper rushed out.
His attacking returns were a reminder of Dalot's ability, with fans hopeful that he could continue to rediscover the form that prompted United to sign him from Porto.

Before the game, Dalot had spoken about playing on the left side of defence, rather than his more natural right side.
He said: "When you play in Europe it’s always a pride, then doing it with a club like Milan is a double pleasure. It’s a pleasure to be part of this group and to play in the Europa League.
“Playing left or right is the same for me, I play where the coach asks me.”
