Manchester United fans have urged the club to offer Ander Herrera a new contact amid rumours surrounding his future.
The Spanish midfielder is out of contract at the end of the current season and fresh reports this week suggest Herrera has emerged as a top transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.
A report from Spanish outlet Marca even suggests the popular midfielder is 'close to agreeing terms' over a move to the French capital, something which fans are dreading.
Not only has Herrera been a consistent performer under both Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season, but many fans believe the 29-year-old would even be a worthy captain of the club.
Not only does the prospect of him leaving for free frustrate supporters, but the fact he would be joining a new European rival has only made matters worse.
