Manchester United fans reacted to their Champions League defeat to Barcelona by sending a transfer message to Ed Woodward.
United were soundly beaten by Barcelona at at the Nou Camp, losing 4-0 on aggregate as the Catalan giants progressed to the semi-finals.
But over in the other Champions League quarter final played on Tuesday, Ajax produced another stunning European performance to beat Juventus 2-1 in Turin and set up a semi-final against Manchester City or Tottenham.
The winning goal for Ajax was scored by departing centre-back Matthijs de Ligt, who is set to leave the Johan Cruyff Arena in the summer - and United fans were clear that the club should do everything to bring him to Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old has also been linked with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City, but fans were clear that a high-profile signing of his quality would show an improvement from a defence consisting of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Ashley Young and Victor Lindelof.
