Manchester United fans send Erling Haaland transfer demand to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United fans want to see the club sign RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland following his exceptional performance on his Champions League debut.

Salzburg were drawn against United 's rivals Liverpool as well as Napoli and Club Brugge, kicking off their campaign against the Belgian side and Haaland led the line for the Austrian side, making his debut in Europe's elite competition.

The son of Manchester City defender, Alf-Inge, made an instant impression.

He netted a first-half hat-trick to become the first teenager to score more than once on their Champions League debut since Wayne Rooney for United back in September 2004.

Haaland worked with current United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde and fans took to social media to plead with the manager to reunite with the forward at Old Trafford.
