Manchester United fans send clear message to club over Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku futures

The vast majority of Manchester United's supporters believe the club should part ways with Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku this summer.

Both players have made no secret of their desire to quit Old Trafford amid interest from clubs in Italy and Spain.

Real Madrid and Juventus are both keen on Pogba and in an interview with The Times last week the Frenchman's agent Mino Raiola confirmed his client's determination to leave.

"Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are."

"Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul's wishes."

Meanwhile, Lukaku has publicly flirted with the idea of a move to Italy on several occasions this year.

"Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream," the Belgian said in April. "I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on United."

In June Lukaku described Antonio Conte as the "best coach in the world" and last week the player's agent, Federico Pastorello, confirmed talks have taken place over a potential transfer.

MEN Sport asked fans in a poll on Saturday what United should do with Pogba and Lukaku and 71 per cent of the 6,553 responders voted in favour of both players being sold, with just six per cent wanting both of them to stay.

Eleven per cent voted for the club to keep Lukaku but sell Pogba, with 12 per cent voting for Pogba to stay but Lukaku to leave.

The MEN understands United do not intend to sell Pogba but are open to offers for Lukaku.
