Manchester United fans are pleased with the news that midfielder Nemanja Matic is considering leaving the club in January.
Matic has played just 160 minutes in the Premier League this season and his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
The MEN understands the 31-year-old is open to leaving United in the January transfer window.
Matic is concerned about his peripheral role at the club ahead of Serbia's possible participation in the European Championship.
United retain the option to extend his deal for a further season but could allow him to leave on a free next summer, as they did with Antonio Valencia earlier this year.
United fans aren't concerned by the news given Matic's below-par performances at Old Trafford and would happily see him leave in the New Year.
