Manchester United fans say same thing about Harry Kane after Edinson Cavani wonder goal

Some Manchester United supporters have taken to social media to share their thoughts on Harry Kane following Edinson Cavani's stunning goal versus Fulham.

Cavani, who has recently put pen-to-paper on a one-year extension on his contract at Old Trafford, opened the scoring in Manchester with a sensational strike from near the halfway line.

It was the 34-year-old's 16th goal of the season in all competitions for United, helping him to quickly become a fan favourite at the club.

The past 24 hours have been dominated by speculation surrounding Kane 's future at Tottenham following Sky Sports' report on Monday evening.

The article says that the 27-year-old has 'again told' Spurs of his desire to leave the north London club in the summer.

It also states that Spurs are now enquiring over potential replacements for Kane in case he does leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, football.london understands that Kane has not directly told the club about his preference to leave at the end of the season, but would consider a move away following the side's poor campaign.

One of the clubs heavily linked with Kane are Man United, but after Cavani's goal against Fulham - some of the club's fan base said very similar things.

United, though, have identified Erling Haaland as their first-choice forward signing this summer, according to our sister title Manchester Evening News.

As mentioned above, football.london understands that Kane is becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of silverware at Tottenham.

After seeing the likes of Christian Eriksen and Kyle Walker move on and be successful at Inter Milan and Manchester City, respectively, the striker may consider a new challenge.

However, Kane's deep connection with Spurs means he is not expected to officially request to leave the club in the summer.
