Manchester United fans react to Ralf Rangnick's Paul Pogba comments

Manchester United fans have praised Ralf Rangnick's comments on Paul Pogba.

Pogba, 28, is currently under contract with United until the end of the season and is free to negotiate a deal elsewhere with overseas clubs in the January transfer window, with Rangnick shedding a little more light on the situation at hand in his press conference before facing Norwich.

"I wouldn't say he's not worth keeping but, of course, players have to want to play and stay for a club and a big club like Manchester United," said Rangnick.

"If a player does not want to play for a club like Manchester United medium or long-term, I don't think it makes sense to convince him to change his mind.

United fans have since reacted to the comments made by their newly appointed German boss, taking to social media to share their thoughts.

@kurtznirvanaz began by stating: ''Ralf Rangnick is not wasting anytime. Ruthless. No player agenda or favouritism. Give 200% or get out.''

@El_Phoenix_1 was full of praise for his sides new interim manager, adding: ''I'm loving this man, he's already a united legend in my book. Top players should be eager to play for Utd and not be forced to. Mbappe is dying to play for Real Madrid.. thats the standard! we need to get our true image back, I love Pogba but he/his agent must respect the club.''

Reds fan Ryan (@rdjm12) wrote: ''Fantastic. Just what United need. If Rangnick had been manager at the start of the season Pogba and Lingard would of either been sold or not kicked a ball due to contract situations. Ole lacked leadership.''

And finally @lilaai86 said on the matter: ''So True.. No doubt he will be a huge loss and will be missed but at least Man Utd will get rid of Raiola and his clients once and for all..''
