Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United this summer, it has been claimed.
The 26-year-old, who joined Saints from Juventus two years ago, looks set to leave the Saints.
PA Sports reports that United have made an enquiry for midfielder who could be available for around £18million.
Arsenal and Leicester City are also thought to be keen on Gabon international who was left out Southampton's traveling squad for their pre-season training camp in Austria earlier this week.
The midfielder has now admitted he expects to leave Southampton ahead of the new season.
"I am physically preparing myself at the training centre, with a few other players including Charlie Austin and Jordy Clasie," Lemina said
"I did not accompany the team in training in agreement with the coach. He wants to build his group with the players who want to stay at the club, so he left me out.
"As early as last year, I had set my conditions: I wanted to go elsewhere this summer."
United fans have been reacting on social media to the latest transfer rumours.
£18m for Mario Lemina, what are we waiting for? Get that deal done with Bruno Fernandes and keep Paul Pogba for one more season.

Solid midfield
Let's hope Lemina is instead of Longstaff! #MUFC

Wouldn't surprise at all if we went for Lemina instead of Bruno Fernandes. Ed Woodward is becoming obsessed with saving money at every corner. #MUFC

Really don’t understand why people want Lemina he is a squad player at best and we already have pereira and mctominay who should be squad players. Quality over quantity please #MUFC #ManchesterUnited

Luke Shaw. Morgan Schneiderlin. Now Mario Lemina? Hasn't Woodward learned that bargain shopping at Southampton does not work? Failure to learn from history sees you repeating it. We laughed at Liverpool for doing the exact same thing. #GlazersOut #WoodwardOut #MUFC

No real objections to Lemina. He’s alright. Looked mega when he arrived in the league two seasons back but has dipped in form. Mind you, I think we all would if we got together with Fanny Neguesha. Decent squad signing if it happens but not a game changer #MUFC

Mario Lemina - I'm a big fan of his. He has big potential. Rated him last year, so don't see why he couldn't reach his potential at OT. Nice move if we can get him and are interested. #mufc https://t.co/FGR86iKPsG
