Manchester United fans react to Jadon Sancho deleted tweet with transfer demand

Jadon Sancho was deemed a priority transfer target by Manchester United earlier this year but their poor end to the season and resultant failure to qualify for the Champions League reduced their chances of landing the England youngster.

Borussia Dortmund's determination not to sell Sancho provided United with another sizeable obstacle to overcome and the Reds shelved their pursuit of the 19-year-old to prioritise more attainable targets.

Sancho would have cost United north of £100million this summer, whereas Daniel James was available for a fraction of that price from Swansea.

Although James has impressed during the early days of his United career, it's fair to assume Reds fans would've been far more excited had Sancho arrived from Dortmund.

It remains to be seen whether United will reignite their interest in Sancho next summer but supporters are definitely keen for the club to do so as they inundated the teenager with tweets after an online exchange between him and Raheem Sterling.

Sancho's tweet was a reference to a music video for the rap song 'Location' by Dave that he and Sterling recently appeared in.

The meaning behind the tweet didn't stop United fans begging Sancho to relocate to Manchester.

Hint hint.

United is the only place for him.

Get to OT.

We need him.

When?

We all know.
