As Euro 2020 wrapped up on Sunday evening, Manchester United's soon-to-be latest signing Jadon Sancho has finally been freed from international duty, and fans shared their excitement as his transfer nears.
Sancho will join the club as United 's third most expensive player of all-time behind centre-back Harry Maguire and midfielder Paul Pogba.
United have been interested in the England international for four years and came close to signing the young attacker last summer.
But now his official arrival is only a matter of time. On Tuesday, Sancho completed his medical at the club's Carrington training base. Confirmation of his completed move is expected before the end of the week.
Fans were quick to take to social media to share their excitement ahead of what promises to be a fruitful summer window for the club and a bright future with Sancho in the side.

Sancho scored 50 goals and registered 64 assists in 137 appearances during a terrific four-year spell at Borussia Dortmund since leaving Manchester City in 2017.
He arrives at Old Trafford following heartbreak at Euro 2020 after missing his penalty against Italy in the final as England lost a tense shootout at Wembley.
At United, Sancho will be able to put the past behind him and begin pre-season with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer once he has recuperated from his tournament excursion.
