But after anticipating that they'll have to do so without both of their first-choice centre backs, United have been boosted by the surprise return of skipper Harry Maguire.
Maguire was thought to miss out today after being away from the team the last few weeks after picking up an injury.
However, as revealed by the MEN, Maguire will start today, with Raphael Varane still out for a number of weeks.
