Manchester United fans rave over Daniel James moment during Brighton win

Manchester United winger Daniel James had a birthday to remember as the Reds returned to winning ways in the Premier League against Brighton.

Goals from Andreas Pereira and Marcus Rashford along with an own goal from Davy Propper ensured Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men bounced back from last weekend's defeat to Bournemouth.

James may not have got on the score sheet but his display left United fans impressed - the Wales winger was a constant threat to the Brighton defence.

No player on the pitch attempted more dribbles and no United starter retained a higher pass completion rate (94 per cent). James also played two key passes - only Anthony Martial and Andreas Pereira managed more.

The youngster will be disappointed not to have registered at least one assist, showcasing his blistering pace down the right hand side before sliding in Rashford for an easy finish, but the England international fluffed his lines.

Nevertheless, United fans were in awe of his pace and praised his efforts in the move.
