Manchester United fans rage over Paul Pogba vs Tottenham report

Manchester United fans have demanded that Paul Pogba starts against Tottenham.

After a break of over three months due to the coronavirus pandemic, United will finally return to Premier League action on Friday when they travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Although the hiatus has proven chaotic for football it could actually play in to United's hands as they will go into the remainder of the campaign with a fully fit squad as their injured players have had time to recover.

One of whom is Pogba, who has been limited to a mere eight appearances this season due to persistent ankle issues.

The Frenchman hasn't played since Boxing Day but after undergoing surgery to rectify the issue he is now fit enough to make his return.

However, according The Athletic, Pogba is unlikely to start against Tottenham due the good form United were in prior to the break, going 11 games unbeaten in all competitions.

Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Nemanja Matic had all been excellent while Scott McTominay, who was only just returning from injury himself, also put in some good performances.

It's claimed that Pogba will have to earn his way back into the United midfield but some fans disagree and believe he should be placed straight back into the side.

Tottenham also go into the match with some of their star players available again, with Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Moussa Sissoko all fit after various injury problems.

However, they have suffered a fresh blow after young defender Japhet Tanganga suffered a stress fracture in his back and has been ruled out for a number of weeks.
