Manchester United fans were questioning Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team selection against Barcelona, with Phil Jones seemingly picked at right-back over Diogo Dalot.
United travelled to the Nou Camp looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg, but were without the suspended Luke Shaw.
That meant Solskjaer had to make a decision at full-back, and named a puzzling team selection on the night that appeared to show Jones as the designated right back.
A back three of Jones, Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof is another possibility, but there is no obvious wing-back to operate on the opposite side to Ashley Young in a 3-5-2 formation.
And United fans believed Dalot should have been given the nod at right-back due to his flexibility in defence or on the wing.
Dalot started on the right-wing in the second leg at PSG in the previous round, winning the last minute penalty that Marcus Rashford scored.
