Manchester United fans have cheekily proposed changing the lyrics to a chant about Bruno Fernandes if Cristiano Ronaldo completes a sensational move to Man City in the summer transfer window.
This summer has already seen Lionel Messi complete a shock move to Paris Saint-Germain and now talks are ongoing over a possible transfer for his great sporting rival.
Pep Guardiola's side are closing in on a shock transfer deal for Ronaldo after their pursuit of Harry Kane collapsed and are in talks with Juventus over a price for the Portuguese forward.
Ronaldo, 36, is regarded as a club legend by many United fans after a stellar six-year spell at Old Trafford but he risks tarnishing his legacy should he switch to the blue side of Manchester.
The Portuguese ace still has his name sung by United fans at matches across Europe - but that could be about to end if he does complete a sensational switch to City.
One such change could come in regards to Bruno Fernandes' current chant which also pays homage to Ronaldo as a former Sporting Lisbon player.
Currently the chant goes: 'Bruno, Bruno, Bruno, He's from Sporting like Cristiano' - lyrics which might well need updating before deadline day.
However, supporters have identified a clever workaround should that happen, by replacing Ronaldo's name with that of former defender Marcos Rojo.
Argentine defender Rojo spent seven-years at United having signed from Sporting back in 2014, eventually leaving the club to join Boca Juniors back in February.
While he is not remembered quite as fondly by regular Old Trafford attendees Rojo does at least have the advantage that he never played for one of their great rivals.
It might only be a tongue-in-cheek suggestion, but maybe it is time for United fans to start singing Rojo's name once again.
Altogether now... 'Bruno, Bruno, Bruno, He's from Sporting like Marcos Rojo...'
