Manchester United fans have praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after seeing Mason Greenwood become the latest young player at the club to sign a long-term contract.
Greenwood, who has stepped into the first team squad properly this season, has signed a new deal until 2023 with the option of a further year.
The 18-year-old was prolific at youth level last season and made his United debut towards the end of the season under Solskjaer. He was included in the squad for the pre-season tour of Australia, Singapore and China, and scored his first senior goals last month against Astana and Rochdale.
Fans were delighted to see Greenwood sign his new deal, especially after a number of other young players have committed their future to the club under Solskjaer.
Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Axel Tuanzebe and David de Gea are among the players to have signed new deals recently, with young left-back Brandon Williams signing his own deal this week as well.
The latest extension could be the most popular of all, and fans took to Twitter to praise Solskjaer's long-term planning, and also called for Angel Gomes to be the next player to sign a new deal.
