Following an impressive start to the campaign with four wins from their opening five Premier League matches, the wheels, rather spectacularly, have fallen off Manchester United's season in recent weeks.
The Reds have lost four of their last six Premier League outings and the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City prior to the international break was, for many supporters, the end of the road for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Although the Norwegian remains in charge for now, United's hierarchy are understood to have decided that a change in manager will be required, but when that change could come remains to be seen.
While Solskjaer is at fault for a lot of United's failings so far this term, the players, too, also have to take their fair share of the blame, with too many individuals having fallen below the standard that is required to play for a club the size of the Reds.
With the defeat to City prior to the international break having displayed yet more individual errors, as well as the fact that it was United's last outing for a fortnight, the Manchester Evening News, opened up the floor for United's supporters to have their say on each member of Solskjaer's first-team squad and their performances so far this season.
Rating each player out of ten, a huge number of United supporters have decided to cast their vote. Below, MEN Sport has ran the rule over the data collected and discovered who has been impressing the fans the most, as well as those who have work to do.
Having scored nine goals in 12 games since his return to the club from Juventus, as well as being United's hero in the UEFA Champions League in each of their last three games, it is no surprise that Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the ratings, collecting an average of score of 8.1 out of ten.
Despite United's recent struggles, Ronaldo has, for the most part, been the one that has delivered in the big moments when the Reds were in need of a spark.
Attracting a rating of 7.7, goalkeeper David de Gea, in the eyes of the supporters, has been United's second-best performer so far this season. The Spaniard has been in inspired form between the sticks and, despite only having two Premier League clean sheets to show for his efforts, has been hugely influential, making a string of fine saves.
His performances have, certainly for now, settled the debate about who should be the Reds' first choice goalkeeper, with De Gea having done more than enough to keep Dean Henderson in his shadow.
Coming home in third place is summer signing Raphael Varane, who has earned an average rating of 7.1. The Frenchman, despite only having made nine appearances in all competitions for United so far this term, with injury issues continuing to plague the opening exchanges of his Old Trafford career, has been excellent when fit and available.
His importance has been highlighted in the games that he has missed, with the Reds conceding 11 goals in the three games he has missed since the October international break. His only league appearance since then saw the Reds keep a clean sheet at Tottenham Hotspur.

At the opposite end of the scale, it is club captain Harry Maguire that has been the least impressive member of the first-team squad so far this term, attracting an average rating of just 2.2.
The centre-back, who scored twice for England over the international break, has struggled for form of late and was guilty of making costly individual errors against Leicester City, Liverpool, Atalanta and City. The fans have been getting on his back more and more in recent weeks, but it should be hoped that his goals for England against Albania and San Marino will have handed him a much-needed confidence boost.
Ahead of Maguire, the supporters have voted Diogo Dalot as the Reds' second-worst performer this term, with the Portuguese international attracting an average rating of just 3.4.
Dalot, in fairness, has not had much of a chance to try and bank a higher score, making just six appearances in all competitions, with only one of those six outings being a Premier League start.
Also attracting an overall rating of just 3.4, United attacker Anthony Martial is another player that the fans are keen to see better from.
The Frenchman, however, is another player that has not had chances coming out of his ears so far this term, making just seven appearances in all competitions. He has scored one goal, that coming in the 1-1 draw with Everton last month.
