Manchester United supporters have highlighted Bruno Fernandes' goal and assist record as a reason for the club to sign the midfielder from Sporting CP.
Fernandes has played 77 times for Sporting since the beginning of last season, scoring 45 goals and recording 31 assists in the process.
The statistics of his United counterparts are nowhere near as impressive.
By contrast, Jesse Lingard has six assists and five goals since the start of last season, Andreas Pereira has two goals and four assists, and Juan Mata has seven goals and seven assists.
United have been offered the chance to sign Fernandes this month having resisted last summer.
Fernandes has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the Portuguese press and Spurs have also been touted as a possible destination for the 25-year-old.
Fernandes' agent deleted his Twitter account last night as speculation surrounding his client's future intensified.
