Manchester United booked their place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals in phenomenal style on Wednesday night as Marcus Rashford settled the tie with a superb free-kick.
With the game tied at 1-1 in the 73rd minute, Rashford plundered United in front with a swerving effort from over 30 yards out.
The 22-year-old has developed a reputation for being a poor free-kick taker over the past 12 months, so it came as something of a surprise to see him find the net in such fashion.
Rashford was flooded with messages on social media after the match, with United target James Maddison one of the players reacting to the strike on Instagram, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer drew comparisons between the Reds' No.10 and club great Cristiano Ronaldo.
Eagle-eyed watchers of the game also spotted Anthony Martial's disbelieving reaction to the goal, as the Frenchman stopped dead in his tracks and stared back at Rashford as if to make sure he wasn't imagining things.
