Jurgen Klopp was quick to criticise Manchester United's tactics after seeing his Liverpool side drop points for the first time this season.
United were arguably the better side in the Premier League draw at Old Trafford, taking the lead through Marcus Rashford before Liverpool rescued a point from Adam Lallana's late finish.
Liverpool may have had the majority of possession, but they failed to convert that into many clear chances. However, Klopp's post-match reaction painted a picture of a dominant side playing a side parking the bus for 90 minutes.
He said: "Man Utd had momentum in the first half because they were purely there to defend us. Since I'm in England Man United always played like this."
However, United fans were quick to point out that this was Klopp's fifth attempt at earning a win at Old Trafford, and he is yet to achieve that feat. They felt that United's game plan was spot on for a derby, and Liverpool's inability to play their own game rattled Klopp, prompting his reaction.
