Manchester United fans make transfer demand after Premier League fixtures released

Manchester United fans have demanded the club make some new signings to deal with the early fixture congestion after the 2020/21 Premier League fixtures were announced.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are due to begin the new Premier League season with an away trip to face Burnley at Turf Moor, although the match is set to be postponed, before welcoming Crystal Palace to Old Trafford and finishing the opening month with an away trip to Brighton.

Fans have already identified a tricky period in October with the club set to face Tottenham, Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal across four games in the month.

United's return to the Champions League will only further add to the fixture headache with their first group stage game in the competition sandwiched between the matches against Newcastle and Chelsea.

The next group game comes a week later with the home fixture against Arsenal to follow while they face Everton, Southampton, West Ham and Man City in the other four matches after Champions League fixtures.

United's squad is set to be tested to the limits immediately with such a tricky start to the season and as expected fans are already demanding more signings to deal with the congestion.

Heading for disaster

Patience wearing thin

Squad depth needed

Need to spend

Motivation needed

Out to get United?

The fixtures are a disaster - anyone else noticed 5 out 6 of our games with our biggest rivals are at home in 2020? Meaning empty stadiums?? Then we have to go to their stadiums when they’re full!!

United have a month-and-a half left to sign any new players for the new season with the summer transfer window open up until October 5.
