Manchester United fans have thanked Timothy Fosu-Mensah for his contribution in helping to prevent Liverpool from winning the Premier League.
The United defender is on loan at relegation strugglers Fulham who face title chasing Man City on Saturday, with the Blues needing a victory to once again overtake Liverpool at the top of the table.
No one was expecting anything less than a City victory against the leakiest defence in the league and it was no surprise when they took the lead after just five minutes at Craven Cottage, thanks in large part to Fosu-Mensah.
The Dutchman gave the ball away in his own half, a lethal mistake against a ruthless City.
Sergio Aguero carried the ball and laid it off to Bernardo Silva, who dribbled past a couple of half-hearted tackles before bending the ball past Sergio Rico and into the bottom corner.
