Manchester United fans make prediction after drawing Club Brugge in Europa League

Manchester United fans are delighted after drawing Club Brugge in the Last-32 of the Europa League.

Following the conclusion of the group stages last week the draw was held on Monday in Nyon, France, and United were eventually drawn out of the hat against the Belgian side.

The first leg will be played on Thursday, February 20 with the second coming a week later on February 27.

Brugge have entered the competition after finishing third in their Champions League group which contained both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

They didn't manage to win a game but their three draws earned third place above Galatasaray and one of them came at the Bernabeu.

The Blauw-Zwart went two goals ahead in Madrid but were then unfortunate as they had a man unfairly sent off before conceding a controversial equaliser.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side comfortably finished top of their group, four points ahead of second place AZ, and as a result couldn't have been drawn against many of the teams from the Champions League, but Brugge weren't a seeded team.

United have played Brugge twice before as they comfortably beat them 7-1 on aggregate in a Champions League qualifier in 2015.

There is an also an interesting parallel with United's 2017 triumph in the Europa League as they faced Anderlecht - a fellow Belgian side - on their way to the final.

United supporters are pleased with the seemingly comfortable draw and want to see the side go all the way to the final in Gdansk.
