Manchester United fans make player transfer demand after Mauricio Pochettino leaves Tottenham

Manchester United fans have reacted in contrasting ways to the news that Tottenham Hotspur have sacked manager Mauricio Pochettino — with many believing now is the time for the club to target Harry Kane.

Tottenham announced on Tuesday evening that they have parted company manager with manager Pochettino after a disastrous start to the campaign.

That's despite Pochettino leading Spurs to the Champions League final earlier this year and regularly making the north London club title contenders in his reign. He's also responsible for bringing through players like Kane, Dele Alli and Danny Rose

And it seems many United fans think now would be a perfect time to target England captain Kane.

United have been tentatively linked with Kane in the past. And with the striker so closely linked with Pochettino, many supporters have taken to social media to urge the Reds to bid for Spurs' best players.

Some also named Son Heung-Min as a possible United target, with the chance that Pochettino's Spurs could be disbanded.
