Manchester United fans make N'Golo Kante demand amid Chelsea transfer speculation

Manchester United fans have urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make a move for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante amid speculation he will be allowed to leave the Stamford Bridge club this summer.

Kante has been one of the most consistent performers in the Premier League for both Leicester and Chelsea in recent years, helping the Foxes secure the unlikeliest title win in 2016 before completing his switch to Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder added another league winner's medal to his collection during his first season in London and was part of the France team that lifted the World Cup one year later.

Despite his importance to Chelsea, it was reported earlier this month that Chelsea might look to sell the 29-year-old this summer as Frank Lampard continues to rebuild his side.

United will soon need to start their search for a long-term replacement for Nemanja Matic in midfield and fans believe the opportunity to sign Kante should not be turned down, with some enticed by the prospect of a three-man midfield containing Kante, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba.

MEN Sport does not currently understand Kante to be a priority target for United, as they remain firmly focused on bolstering their attack with the addition of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

United are also interested in Jack Grealish of Aston Villa and the Bournemouth player David Brooks.
