Manchester United fans want to see striker Mason Greenwood rewarded for his Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award with his first start in the Premier League on Sunday.
Greenwood has scored 26 goals in 26 games for United at youth level this season, with eight assists. He also broke into the first team, featuring three times, including at PSG in the Champions League.
Incredibly, the 17-year-old has had a direct role in 54 goals from 48 youth team appearances for United in his young career, and with United preparing to face relegated Cardiff on Sunday knowing a top four finish is beyond them, there are calls for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to include some youth team players in his matchday squad.
In fact, Greenwood joined fellow youngsters Angel Gomes, Dylan Levitt, Arnau Puigmal, James Garner and Tahith Chong in first team training on Thursday ahead of the clash with the Bluebirds.
And after Greenwood picked up the prestigious Jimmy Murphy Award, fans were unanimous in calling for the striker to play on Sunday, while there were also calls for U23 Player of the Year Chong to feature.
