Manchester United fans make Hakim Ziyech transfer demand after Ajax confirm he will leave

Manchester United fans want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to break his transfer policy of signing young English talent by bringing in Ajax's Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech.

Ziyech, 26, helped Ajax to the Champions League semi finals this season, as well as securing a league and cup double in the Netherlands, but the club's sporting director Marc Overmars has confirmed he will depart this summer amid reported interest from United.

Overmars said: "He leaves when a top club comes. He is in focus because of his achievements in the Champions League.

"Many big clubs are buzzing around him. We promised Hakim [that we would] agree to a good transfer."

Ziyech has 21 goals and has 24 assists this season, and is reported to have a £25m release clause in his contract.
