Manchester United fans have urged the club to stick by Fred amid reports the Brazil midfielder is the target for Italian side Roma in the summer transfer window.
Fred only joined United last summer and it does not seem likely that the club would even consider his departure having spent £52m on his signature a year ago.
However, that hasn't stopped reports in Italy suggesting Roma will pursue a move to sign the former Shakhtar midfielder on loan this summer with a view to buy in the future.
Fred experienced a mixed start to his life at Old Trafford which saw him regularly left out of the starting line up with just 17 appearances in the league this season.
It was not the start many supporters had envisaged for the central midfielder but they want to see the club show faith in him this summer.
No way
No way United are gonna loan him after paying £50m just a year ago. He deserves another chance, he was getting better toward the end of last season.

He’s had one season ffs, and yes on the whole he’s be underwhelming he’s also had a run of games where he performed excellently. Deserves another season to improve and show his worth.

Gap to fill
Fred finished the season well. We've already lost Fellaini and Herrera. Fred should only leave if we have at least two proven CMs come in. If Fred stays, he will grow in confidence and pick up from where he left off.
