Manchester United fans are hailing their homegrown front four as Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes all start against Astana in the Europa League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer named a much-changed United starting XI for the Astana fixture, using the game to give minutes to a number of fringe players and youngsters needed experience.
After confirming Mason Greenwood would start before the game, Solskjaer also named Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes in his team, as the academy trio joined Marcus Rashford in the exciting front four.
“I have to give a lot of credit to the boys who haven’t had much action so far because they’ve been great professionals, kept working hard and supported their teammates," Solskjaer explained before the match.
"Now we can start giving the squad more opportunities to show everybody what they can do, starting with tonight’s Europa League opener.”
Fred, Axel Tuanzebe and Diogo Dalot also started, with Rashford leading the line upfront.
But fans were excited to see the young trio of Greenwood, Gomes and Chong all start for the first team, and some even suggested the line-up could be the start of a new 'Class of 2019' group to be promoted into the first team.
