Manchester United fans have demanded that Axel Tuanzebe is given more chances in the first-team following his encouraging performance against Arsenal.
The United defender started his first Premier League match in over two years on Monday night as he played as a makeshift in the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
United's ongoing injury crisis saw Tuanzebe come into the team with Ashley Young switching to right-back in order to compensate for the absence of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Despite being played out of position Tuanzebe coped well with the pressure and in particular with the way in which he subdued the attacking threat of Nicolas Pepe.
The 21-year-old was at fault for Arsenal's equalising goal in the match, however fans think Tuanzebe still did enough to warrant further inclusions in the starting line up.
Deserves to start
Axel Tuanzebe deserves to start in central defence against AZ Alkmaar. Did very well playing out of position against Arsenal, barring the mistake which am sure he'll learn from as he is a kid. He has been one of the very few positives in an otherwise mediocre season for #MUFC
