Manchester United fans have demanded to see Antonio Valencia play again before the end of the season.
The captain is set to leave the club this summer after United declined to take up a contract extension option in his contract.
Valencia has made just one appearance for United since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge in December, playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 away win at Newcastle on January 2.
However, he has failed to build upon that performance and has seen his playing time further reduced following another injury setback earlier in the year.
With only two matches left of the season it appears the Ecuadorian is out of Solskjaer's first-team plans, and he was the only senior player not to have been included in the provisional squad for their draw with Chelsea at the weekend.
After the match, Valencia took to social media to defend David de Gea following his latest mistake in goal. The captain's classy message impressed supporters, and they have demanded to see him involved before the end of the season.
