Manchester United fans love what Wayne Rooney has said about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has joined the wealth of people heaping praise upon Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after he was handed a three-year contract at the club.

The Red Devils have shone since the Norwegian boss took charge after Jose Mourinho's departure, firing United back into the race for the top-four and sealing a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals after a memorable victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

Many have been calling for Solskjaer to be handed the job on a permanent basis after his performances in charge so far and the club followed through with their wishes ahead of the Premier League's return this weekend.

After the news was announced, Rooney took to Twitter to send a message of support to Solskjaer and the forward, now with MLS outfit DC United, revealed his excitement for the season's finale.
