Manchester United fans love what Patrice Evra said about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Everton win

Manchester United fans have responded to Patrice Evra's social media activity following their 3-1 win over Everton.

United lifted some of the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a comeback victory and much-improved performance at Goodison Park.

Back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir had caused further speculation over Solskjaer's future at the club after a poor start to the season.

The MEN reported earlier this week that United officials have made contact with Mauricio Pochettino over replacing the under-fire boss, with the Argentine appearing on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football and admitting he is ready to return to management and the MEN reported last December Pochettino wants to take over as United manager and his stance on the role is not believed to have changed.

However, Saturday's win over Everton could buy Solskjaer further time in the role.

Evra has been a firm supporter of Solskjaer and has often vocalised his view that the problems with the club lie at boardroom level and his latest Instagram post supporting Solskjaer has gone down well.

He wrote: "Oulalala the haters won't like it Ole, I can see them," with a picture of Evra and Solskjaer in training together when they were teammates.

Here's how United fans responded to the post:

bEEaverknight: I think Uncle Pat is a proper r/Reddevils user. As reactionary as anyone over here. On top of the moon when we win and full on depression mode when we lose.

fan_balae: I wish our legends don't put him on a pedestal after every win when they try to find scapegoats when we lose. We can do that after having gained some momentum in the league

KorsiTheKiller: Looking at RVP's reaction to the Istanbul game I think former players (of all clubs) aren't fond of sacking managers as a solution to bad form. Maybe it comes from their personal experience of what goes on behind the scenes...but former United players seem to be more like actual fans than most former players

MrDannyF: There is only one @evra #mufc
