Manchester United fans love team selection vs Sheffield United but have a question

Manchester United fans reacted to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team selection for today's game versus Sheffield United in two contrasting ways.

The vast majority of United fans on social media were excited as young left back Brandon Williams kept his place for the clash at Bramall Lane.

But many supporters questioned the inclusion of Phil Jones — who makes his first Premier League start of the season.

United take on fifth-placed Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, looking to pick up a sixth win from their past seven games and jump ahead of the Blades into fifth. United have won just one away game in the Premier League this season.

It's not entirely clear whether Solskjaer is fielding a back three, or a back four against Chris Wilder's side. Jones may well line up alongside Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof in a three-pronged defensive combination, or move into midfield alongside Fred and Andreas Pereira.

It's an unchanged front three for United, with Daniel James and Marcus Rashford continuing to flank Anthony Martial.

Solskjaer explained Jones' selection was due to his impressive attitude in training — and his ability to play either in midfield or at the back — and some United fans, in fairness, agreed with the Norwegian.

Here are those very different responses from United fans to the team news, with the 4.30pm kick off fast approaching:
