Manchester United fans love Solskjaer's decision to start Brandon Williams vs AZ Alkmaar

Manchester United fans were delighted to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer again put faith in a number of young players in the Europa League fixture at AZ Alkmaar.

Left-back Brandon Williams earned his full United debut while Mason Greenwood was named up front after scoring the winner in the group opener vs Astana a fortnight ago.

Angel Gomes was also trusted with a start, with Daniel James and Diogo Dalot also featuring in a youthful-looking side.

Solskjaer has shown he will use the Europa League to blood his talented academy stars, and the tricky tie at Alkmaar was no different, with fans once again excited to see what the best young talents at the club can produce.

In particular, supporters were looking forward to seeing Williams, after a promising cameo in the Carabao Cup win over Rochdale and a record of five assists in six games at youth level already this season.
