Manchester United fans love Mike Phelan tweet ahead of Barcelona Champions League fixture

It seems like there is nothing Mike Phelan can do wrong at Manchester United.

Ever since the popular coach returned to Old Trafford as part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's back room staff last December there has been a feel-good factor in the air.

Not only have United remarkably revived their hopes of a top-four finish in the Premier League but the exciting football has also made a welcome return to the club.

Phelan has been an integral part of the new-look United, and supporters love having an icon from the Sir Alex Ferguson era back at the club.

However, his role is far more than just cheer-leading and over the weekend he travelled with Solskjaer to Barcelona for a scouting mission ahead of the massive Champions League quarter-final game on Wednesday night.

Phelan was present at the Nou Camp on Saturday to witness Barcelona record a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid, but it was a tweet he sent which got more attention than Lionel Messi online.

The charismatic coach uploaded a selfie of himself alongside the new United manager with a reference to the popular 'Ole's at the Wheel' chant - and supporters absolutely loved it.
