Manchester United fans are hitting out at their club's transfer targets after watching rivals Manchester City break yet another transfer record - being particularly harsh on Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff.
City completed the signing of Rodri from Atletico Madrid for a club record £62.8m, and some Red Devils fans haven't taken the news well.
Taking to social media fans have, unfairly Newcastle United fans would argue, questioned the club's direction - holding Longstaff up as an example.
Newcastle fans would of course love to see the midfielder stay on Tyneside after the 21-year-old impressed during nine appearances last season, but reports suggest that MUFC officials are confident of securing a deal.
However the arrival of Rodri - who spent only a year at Atletico - has prompted some fans to react rather negatively to Manchester United's pursuit of Longstaff.
Don't worry though, Newcastle fans would love to keep him - and have themselves thought up some extreme ways to do that.
